SPIRITUAL BATHS
Spiritual baths are intended to clear any spiritual blockages, undo crossed conditions, or remove any negative or dark energies you may have picked up. Spiritual baths are also employed to bring changes in luck, love, clarity, and so much more.
Depending upon the type of bath you are taking, the baths will generally contain salt and a host of blessed herbs. You boil the herbs or flowers down first to get their essence. Your spiritual bath comes blessed, with the appropriate candle to coincide with your spiritual goal.
When taking a spiritual bath, prepare by first bathing as you would normally, wash your hair and entire body. Light the candles that coincide with your bath. Prepare your Spiritual bath in either COLD water, directly from the package, or boil the dry contents for about 20 - 60 minutes, (sticks need to boil longer) let steep and allow the water to cool. Add this to a COLD tub of water. Wash with the herb water from head to foot. Pray your petition while you are bathing.
A true spiritual bath is normally taken cold. Why? Because the cold activates and helps to remove the negative ions in your body.
If you are doing a one day bath, light the candles and place one on each side of he tub, far enough apart for you to pass through. If you are doing a multiple day bath, light the glass candle just before getting into your bath. The candle should be burning whenever you are bathing. If you are doing a bath to take away a condition i.e. a hex, bad luck, or to remove dirty energy, use the herbs to wash your body from head to foot. If you are taking a bath to bring to you, i.e. bring protection, good luck etc, wash in an upward motion from foot to head.
You must air dry.
Squeeze any water from your hair, and wipe your body in a downward motion to remove as much water as you can. Once you are finished, cover your head with a white cloth. When you have finished bathing, collect all of the herbs and about a cup of your dirty bath for disposal.
THE REMNANTS OF YOUR BATH MUST BE PROPERLY DISPOSED OF. Cleansing, banishing baths are best left at a crossroad, or railroad track with an offering of 7 pennies. Baths for protection, good luck can be buried in your yard, or released at the crossroad.
Allow Spirit to guide you.

SELF LOVE BATHS
Self Love Bath Ritual encourages us to bring the focus back to self care and self love we want to inject into everyday life. Love is the highest vibrational state of being and with self love comes clarity and compassion.
A bath can also be a meditative ritual of healing and self-care. Make the most of your moment by journalling intentions, or meditate either with mantra or affirmations. Turn your bathtub into a sacred oasis, you'll calm your body and mind but you'll also give yourself space to set intentions for whatever you want to come. This is the bath you’ll want to pull out all the crystals, flowers, fruits and herbs… soak in an oasis!
Self Love or Love Baths are truly the only baths you are to take HOT/ Warm. By taking a few minutes to nourish your body, mind, and soul, you can foster feelings of self love within yourself. I believe these should be done as a part of your weekly self-care routine.
SHOWER RITUAL
Set your scene and light your candle in the manner mentioned above. Pour your salt into a small to medium-sized bowl. Add olive, coconut, almond, or jojoba oil (whatever is readily available) to the bowl until it reaches a spreadable consistency.
Step into a warm running shower, being careful not to add water to the salt mixture. Instead of dissolving the salts in the water, use them to exfoliate your entire body. Use small, circular motions on your legs, arms, and torso while being mindful of the sensitive areas. While you exfoliate, visualize yourself shedding away negative thoughts you or others have imposed on you. As the salt runs off your body, let those thoughts run down the drain, allowing you to regain a refreshed sense of self.
YOU CAN USE THIS FOR CLEANSING.
Alternatively you can also boil the herbs as above and take a cold shower and pour them over you as well.
Side note: depending upon your guides I may or may not pour it over my head (your Ori). Why? Some of your guides which govern that space may not care for some of the herbs. I would ask and listen to my guides. I normally advise to take your baths from the chin/ neck down.
Here is a video on how to make a Blanco Baño.
A baño blanco is a spiritual bath ritual done over three consecutive days, at night before bed. It is intended to cleanse the aura of negative energy.
A combination of natural ingredients paired with prayer and spiritual practices creates a beautiful ritual anyone can do to feel more connected to the divine.
Baño blanco is a great way to align with peace and tranquility. If you suffer from insomnia, this may be the perfect baño for you as it is known to be a lullaby in bath form. For this reason, it's a wonderful introduction to spiritual baños for children. The gentle, comforting feel of this baño will soothe their souls and ease them off to dreamland. Simply add the baño blanco mixture to warm bath water and let them soak in all the goodness.
