๏ธ Happy Summer Solstice Everyone. ๐
The longest day of the year. Enjoy some sun today. Honor the light.
By honoring the sun, we honor the light within ourselves. There is an internal flame within when the days get longer, the sun leading us through better times. By celebrating the sun and the power it provides to all nature, humans are spiritually ignited, connecting to its life force.
The Spring Equinox begins this journey and represents new beginnings, the Summer Solstice represents the next step of this divine rhythm.
Always occurring at the start of the Cancer Sun Season, the Summer Solstice reminds us to turn inward and find the nourishment needed to grow and evolve.
We planted our gardens and now it is time to cultivate and feed them. So that they can continue to grow until harvest. The Summer Solstice marks the longest day (yang = day) of the year and the shortest night (yin = night). Therefore, the Summer Solstice is the most 'yang' day of the year โ the height of summer and yang is fire energy. It is time to go full throttle.
